What contemplation makes possible

Two overlapping leaves, one bright green and one brown, resting on gravel.

I’m interested in what contemplation makes possible when life is complicated, painful, beautiful, and still unfolding.

I’m drawn to the places where parts of our lives have become separated—from one another, from our own inner knowing, and from a sense of the sacred. My work creates room to approach those divisions gently, without forcing them into resolution.
